Karma's a bitch Dealstream!!!

DFear Russell Leigh & the team of Dealstream (

It was only a matter of time that your screwing people around and over would catch up with you.

It’s a pity that so many people invested in Delastream and your devious schemes and they have to pay for Dealstreams misappropriations!

Oh well... have a nice life or we meet again!

PS: I thought I would capture an image of the Dealstream homepage for you - if you want a high resolution image to add to the Russel Leigh family album.

Fat Cat Archer

Just to put things in perspective – I have a size 13 foot (just over 30cm).

I have no idea how Archer maintains this size... I can assure you it is not from catching birds or mice and eating them in his spare time! He is so lazy he won't even get up to eat. In fact I have watched birds eat his food from his bowl in claws reach from him!

Is he really?

I think so!
This chap brings a smile to my face whenever I visit West Park Cemetery. MHDSRIP.

If a tree falls...

We all have heard the argument “If a tree falls and no one hears it, does it make a noise?”

Well – if one lift is ‘not operational’ and you press the button then it clearly won’t come and you would just get into the lift that does come. Is there a point for this sign?

And another thing... when you mention “use the next lift” and then put an arrow to

the “this lift” it confuses the hell out of people... (see point above)!

Do not poke a leopard

Welcome to Africa!! :)

SABC :: Era of digital television dawns

South Africa will start its migration to digital TV when Sentech switches on the digital signal on 1 November 2008, placing it well ahead in respect of meeting one of our broadcasting guarantees for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. With the digital switch on this year South Africa will join the few leading countries in the world that have started this process.

The switch-off date for the analogue signal is 1 November 2011. This gives South Africa a three-year migration period. This is commonly referred to as the dual-illumination period because both the digital and analogue signals are transmitted.

All South Africans will need to migrate to the digital TV era. This does not mean that we have to get rid of our TV sets. During the dual illumination period we will still be able to continue watching television as usual. Only after November 2011, when the analogue signal is switched off, will we need to have a set-top-box (STB) in order to continue watching television using our current TV sets.

A set top box is a type of decoder that converts the digital signal into an analogue one so that households with analogue TVs can continue to watch television services after the analogue signal is switched off. These boxes will be made in and customized for South Africa.

The South African STB will be more than a signal converter. It will be designed to make the delivery of government information and services possible for the citizen from home. It is estimated that the retail price of this special STB will be about R700.

Beyond Platinums Remote Control Extender

If you know me you will know that I love my gadgets and I need to tell the world. Actually I prefer to bring them around to my place and show off but there is no room to host the world and I am still waiting on furniture!

Anyways - if you have a gazillion remote controls and hate the look of the Ellies Wizard Remote Blaster that everyone has gotten know then you will love Beyond Platinum's Remote Control Extender. Instead of the ugly remote blaster transmitter - all you do is replace a battery in each control you want to use.

This also stops you turning off the TV in the other bedroom if you have the same TV.

Ask how many times??

I am trying to figure out what the point is of Nedbank's 'Ask Once' campaign.... I had an issue with their website, tried to use their online form to report it which in itself had errors. Finally I find an email address in their 'Access to information act' document which unanswered for weeks. So I complained to Ask Once, they replied promtly and I sent them my original complaint....

Another week went by and I had not heard from them... so I went to the top and called on to actually get a response (that site rocks!).

Nedbank - stop charging me Internet Banking fees for your 2nd rate technical and customer services. Instead of paying for useless campaigns that come and bite you in the a$$ - spend the money on some real Internet Banking Development... in fact I highly reccomend you open an account with Standard Bank and FNB and use their FREE Internet Banking and see what Nedbank's Internet Banking has to compete with.

Also - I suggest you drop this stupid message on your Nedbank Internet Banking home page - I have no doubt your 'new functionality' will be old when you (eventually) release it. You are raising client's expectations and it will allso bite you in the a$$!

New Functionality Coming Soon!
We will soon be introducing enhancements to our Internet Banking site.
NetBank will offer exciting new functionality which you have requested as well as enhancements to existing functionality to further improve your online banking experience. Watch this space for further information.
